The Dinners On The Farm series, which combines behind-the-scenes farm tours with fresh and seasonal meals prepared by luminary local chefs, will continue on Sunday, August 8, at Oak Grove Plantation in Pittstown, NJ.
The distance between farm and table has never been shorter.
“This kind of event enables us to reach out to the public and say that these restaurants and these chefs are going above and beyond in their commitment to supporting New Jersey agriculture,” says Mikey Azzara, founder of the local produce distribution company Zone 7, which founded the series.

Join us for Zone 7 Dinners on the Farm, our monthly farm-to-table dinner series from June through October of 2010.
Hosted by 5 of our picturesque farm locations throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, Zone 7 Dinners on the Farm will offer a true taste of the season. Guests will be treated to an intimate, farmer-led, “behind the scenes” tour of the fields, followed by a 4-course, fresh and seasonal meal prepared by one (or more) our great restaurant chefs.
