Cherry Grove Farm is a small, diversified farm that produces cheese, meat and eggs on 230 acres of certified organic land in Lawrence, NJ, just south of Princeton.

Cheesemaker and general manager Kelly Harding and his staff handcraft their farmstead cheeses, always beginning with the farm’s raw milk from its grass-fed cows. Varieties range from soft styles like Buttercup Brie, semi-soft, washed-rind favorite Toma Primavera, and seasonal flavored Jack cheeses. Cherry Grove’s herd of Jersey Dairy Cattle enjoys a lush variety of grasses, which are always fresh due to the farm’s rotational grass grazing methods. The cows come inside twice a day to be milked, but otherwise spend all their time outside on pasture.

 In keeping with sustainable practices, the whey from the cheese facility is used to feed its herd of pigs, which roam freely in the woods in the center of the property. Cherry Grove Farm uses no growth hormones, antibiotics or steroids. Farmstead cheese, pork, grassfed beef and lamb, and free-range eggs are all available for purchase at its farm store.
