White Star Growers

Back To Farms >

White Star Growers is a division of Maximucks Farm, located in Buckingham, PA, just above Peddlers Village. White Star has been growing produce for about 12 years. Farmer Matt Maximuck has been farming since his grandfather bought the farm in the late 1940s. The home farm is 100 acres, but it rents about another 500. White Star used to farm close to 2,000 acres of grain but because of development it changed its main focus to its farm market, which carries seasonal items and is open all year around.

White Star offers a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupes, watermelons, eggplant, white and bi-color sweet corn, greenhouse tomatoes and hydroponic lettuce that is pesticide free and grown year around. White Star heats all of its greenhouses with corn and is working on installing solar panels for electricity because the farmers feel it is important to always look for better, more efficient methods to improve the way they farm.
