The goal of the New Gladstone Market is to serve fresh, healthy and, when in season, local food that is top quality and made with love. It also offers a hand-selected wine and beer collection that features organic, small vineyard, sulfite free wines and New Jersey micro-brew beers.
Kathleen and Dennis Galantes took over the business in 2009, transforming the run-down, historic building from 1901 into what it is today. The market sits on the Peapack Brook, with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating.
Kathleen is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute in New York City and has been in the food business for 20 years, having worked, catered and taught in and around the New York City area. Organic, farm-fresh food has been part of her life since childhood, when her parents took their family of 10 on Sunday drives to New Jersey farms.
