Back To Grocers >Terra opened its doors five years ago at 10 Church Street in downtown Montclair. After relocating to the Isabel Rose Café at the Montclair Public Library, its mission remains the same: to offer hospitality over cups of tea and good food; to promote fair trade through sales and education; to support local farmers and to source as many ingredients that it's able to from local producers; to practice environmental stewardship (sourcing and using recycled or renewable material, composting kitchen waste, recycling, and re-using material whenever possible); and to be a place of civility and community.
Terra serves elevenses (late morning refreshment), lunch and afternoon tea. Its soups, salads, sandwiches and baked goods are made from scratch using fresh, locally sourced and fair trade and organic ingredients whenever possible. Whatever it doesn't make in its kitchen is from local bakers.
