Whole Earth Center

Back To Grocers >

Whole Earth Center is a full-service natural foods store in the heart of Princeton. Founded in 1970, Whole Earth was created in response to the first Earth Day with two goals: to be a place where the community could shop for natural foods and eco-friendly products and to be a gathering place for environmental activists. We are a not-for-profit retail store that uses our profits to fund environmental education and projects. Whole Earth's produce department is 100 percent organic. With very few exceptions, the ingredients used in our vegetarian deli and our whole-grain bakery are also all organic. We have a small selection of meats, all from local pasture-based farmers.

On working with Zone 7:
“We love working with Zone 7 because we trust them to find the best products from the best local farmers. We carry a lot of local produce in season. Having a locally focused wholesaler helps us meet some of the logistical challenges of buying from local farms. And, because Zone 7 brings together a wide variety of items, they help us offer a wider range of local organic produce to our customers.”
